I agree with you, it just plain stupid begin sued by that, but the story is on Internet, just google for it. I guess since this thing got on Cinema and TV and made a fair big success (well know worldwide), they (Ferrari) decided that.

well there are millions of people who have kit cars and the kit car company puts origional logos on them all the time. So talking like they got sued is a little over the edge. Look at all of the lambo kit cars and shelby kit cars. I really do think you are of full of it dude. No offense but I talked to my professor (Prosicuting attourney) and he said its perfectly legal to put the origional logos on a kit car. look on ebay at all of the kit cars. If it was illeagle why do so many people do it?

Ferrari’s sued them (the company whom mande the KIT) because they used the originals logos on a cheap replica (kit).
